Are my script files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser reads the files off your disk and parses them with JavaScript on this page. There is no server, no account, and no network request. That matters when the script belongs to a game you have not released yet.
Can it handle a whole project at once?
Yes. Drop the game folder or use the folder picker and every .rpy file inside is processed together. Character definitions found in one file are applied to dialogue in all the others, so a name defined in characters.rpy shows up correctly in every chapter.
Why are some lines missing?
The parser only takes lines that end with a quoted string, which is how Ren'Py dialogue is written. Statements like scene, show, and play are skipped by design. Menu choices are skipped too unless you switch them on, since they are options rather than dialogue.
Does it work offline?
Once the page is loaded, yes - the parsing needs no connection. For a permanently offline tool with drag and drop, the Windows build does the same thing.
